Out of Comission...again

Sorry folks, I had to take the site down the last few days 'cuz of bandwidth overages yet again this month. (I thought I was being smart this time - I only put my brand new mix on a single bulletin board, didn't even announce it on my own site, but I got hammered by some over-eager podcasters from Germany and Russia)
This has become a bit of a serious issue for me as I can't afford to spend $$$ on the extra bandwidth. All the attention is great, I'm glad you're digging the tunes! (Go and support the artists that are featured in those mixes!) But I'm going to have to investigate some other solutions for sharing my mixes online.
This will probably mean a combination of some of the following:
- Googlvertising
- Less free mixes
- Lower sound quality mixes
- mirrored hosting at some other site (which I'm already doing)
So there we go...we'll see how this plays out.
PS - Yea, I brought the rest of the site up because I was already over the bandwidth limit, and I get charged by the gig. I thought by minimizing the site footprint I might be able to slip in under my limit, but alas, too little, too late. So we're back to normal here again, sorta.

Need a second host spot?Posted by: Deep (just a guy) on hey hey - i don't mind putting your mixes up on my web space, too - i barely use my bandwidth, so if you want to use me as a secondary mirror, i'm happy to do it...

Posted by: shazbot/kraniac/landslide/etc. on Hey there Shagzy. I got Sander Kleinenberg's new mix CD "This is Everybody Too." It was recommended as a good house mix CD and I don't listen to much mainstream house (this is now my second house CD, the first being Seb Fontaine's "Type 1") so I thought I would pick it up to see where things are these days in the genre. It's surprisingly good and comes highly recommended.
Anyway, email me about possibly setting up some kind of site mirror or something. My site is proving to be rather unpopular and I don't like paying my host for no services rendered.
